Yatra Online Achieves Strong Financial Results Despite Travel Sector Challenges

Yatra Online, Inc., one of India’s leading travel services providers, has announced a successful third quarter for 2025, showcasing impressive growth despite various challenges in India’s aviation sector. The company reported a revenue of INR 2,576.9 million (USD 28.7 million), marking a 9.6 percent year-on-year (YoY) growth. This performance highlights the continued resilience of Yatra Online, as the company navigates disruptions in both domestic and international travel, particularly in the Middle East region.

Steady Growth Across Key Travel Segments

The strong performance during Q3 2025 can be attributed to balanced growth across Yatra’s core travel services. The company’s corporate travel segment has been a significant driver of this success. Despite Q3 being a traditionally lean period for corporate travel due to year-end holidays, Yatra was able to onboard 40 new corporate clients, increasing its annual billing potential by INR 2,234 million (USD 24.9 million). This expansion in corporate client acquisition was complemented by a strong showing in affiliate-sourced business and a focus on consumer segments.

Air Ticketing and Hotel Services Drive Revenue

In line with the company’s strategy to leverage its key strengths, Yatra’s Air Ticketing and Hotels and Packages segments performed exceptionally well. The adjusted margin from air ticketing grew by 39.4 percent, amounting to INR 1,195.8 million (USD 13.3 million). Additionally, the Hotels and Packages segment saw a 14.6 perceent increase, generating INR 502.1 million (USD 5.6 million) in adjusted margins. This demonstrates that, despite the challenges, demand for both flight bookings and travel packages remains strong across the market.

Total Gross Bookings Surge Amidst Travel Turbulence

Yatra Online’s gross bookings also experienced significant growth, increasing by 20.9 percent YoY to INR 21,761.9 million (USD 242.2 million). The increase in bookings was driven by the robust demand for air ticketing and the growth in hotel stays, which contributed to a total of INR 4,305.9 million (USD 47.9 million) in hotel bookings. The company’s ability to expand its offerings and maintain strong customer demand underscores its resilience in the competitive Indian travel market.

Restructuring Efforts and Strategic Focus

In addition to strong growth in its core segments, Yatra continues to make progress in its restructuring efforts. The company is focusing on unlocking shareholder value and streamlining its operations, with a focus on enhancing its technology and scaling high-margin segments. These efforts are expected to strengthen its competitive edge in the evolving travel industry.

Navigating Challenges and Scaling New Heights

Despite the disruptions in India’s domestic aviation sector and challenges posed by international travel conditions, particularly in the Middle East region, Yatra Online has proven its ability to adapt and grow. By focusing on its core segments, expanding its corporate client base, and strategically restructuring operations, Yatra is positioning itself for sustained success in the travel industry.

As the company looks towards the future, it remains committed to driving long-term value for its stakeholders by capitalising on high-margin segments and investing in its technology capabilities. With a continued focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, Yatra Online’s results for Q3 2025 highlight a promising outlook for the company as it continues to thrive in the dynamic travel and tourism sector. The company’s robust business model, driven by strong demand in air ticketing, hotels, and packages, positions it to capture even more growth in the evolving market, ensuring it remains a leader in India’s competitive travel landscape.
